The summer program has kicked off with an exhilarating first week! Our enthusiastic students in grades 1 through 4 are currently immersed in an exploration of outer space. Each day has been filled with engaging activities designed to spark curiosity and learning. They've crafted space necklaces adorned with beads representing planets, fashioned their own space rocks, and even used toilet paper to measure the vast distances between each planet and the sun. These hands-on projects have been a blast, captivating the students' imaginations during our morning sessions.
In the afternoons, the excitement continues with a variety of activities including soccer matches, gardening adventures, and creative arts and crafts sessions. One of the highlights was creating paper rocket flags, where the students got to design and launch their own miniature rockets.
To top it all off, we embarked on an unforgettable field trip to Lake George Expedition Park. There, our young explorers enjoyed thrilling amusement park rides and embarked on a journey through time to discover fascinating facts about dinosaurs.
As we eagerly anticipate the upcoming week, we're excited to shift our focus to the animal kingdom. Stay tuned for more fun-filled activities and enriching experiences ahead!
